Gateway Fiber is bringing faster, more reliable internet to the Blaine. It also brings something a lot of neighborhoods here haven’t had in a while: the power to choose who provides your service. 

We started building in your community, but our construction is on hold. Before we can finish, the city has to approve our permits, and those approvals are stalled because the city is using rules designed for cable television to stop us from providing you with internet service.

Gateway isn’t a cable TV company—we build fiber internet. We’re not asking for an exception from the rules; we’re asking the city to stop applying cable TV rules to prevent a fiber internet company from providing city residents with more reliable internet service. And this isn’t only about today. Fiber internet is built for what’s coming: more connected devices, more opportunities for working and learning from home, more of everything that runs on a reliable connection. 

In the meantime, many homes here are stuck with fewer options, which usually means higher prices and slower speeds than you’d get with real competition.

We will be attending the Blaine City Council meeting on September 21st and we are asking current and prospective customers who want access to better internet to make their voices heard during the public comment portion of the meeting. 

The goal is to ensure City leaders hear directly from residents about the importance of broadband competition, consumer choice, and the need for this essential service to ALL residents of Blaine. 

As a thank you for your time and participation, any current or prospective customer who attends the meeting and speaks during the public comment period will receive two FREE months of Gateway Fiber internet service once service becomes available at your address or on your next bill cycle if you are a current customer.
