After September 3, 2025, you'll need to set up a new account with Gateway Fiber (don't worry, we'll remind you and send login instructions). In the meantime, please ensure the current payment method in your KWIKOM account is accurate.

In February 2025, Gateway Fiber and KWIKOM announced a merger to combine the best of both companies. While the KWIKOM brand is being phased out, you can expect better service from the same (and even more) great people.

Absolutely! Gateway Fiber has been committed to the communities we serve since our beginning in 2019 and has no plans to abandon that commitment. In fact, you might see even more of us as we get to know our new local customers even better and become an even bigger part of the communities than we already are.

Great news! Your plan, speed, and service will stay exactly the same. If any improvements or upgrades become available in the future, we’ll let you know.
The amount of your bill is not changing—but your billing cycle will be adjusted. Because of this, you’ll receive a one-time, prorated bill in September to align with the new schedule. Beginning in October, things will go back to your regular monthly amount.Â
Please note: depending on billing cycle, some customers will receive their prorated bill in October, with regular monthly billing beginning in November.Â
You’ll only be charged for the number of days between your old billing cycle and the new one. For example, if your bill normally renews on the 10th, and the new cycle starts on the 1st, your bill will only include those extra days to bridge the gap.
KWIKOM customers will switch their bill due dates to align with Gateway Fiber’s billing cycles outlined below. This is where the one-time prorated bill comes into play, as we align your current billing cycle with your new one. We will send you more information via email on your new billing cycle.
Please note: If you currently have payments scheduled through your bank, you'll want to review and possibly adjust based on new payment schedule.

Yes, you will need to set up a new Gateway Fiber account. You will receive instructions to set up your Gateway Fiber account via email after September 3, 2025.

Your preferred method of payment should automatically transfer over to your new account. After September 3, 2025, you will receive instructions to set up your new Gateway Fiber online account to verify all information is correct.

Yes—if you currently pay your KWIKOM bill by check, you will continue to mail and make your check out exactly as you have been.Â
There will be a short maintenance window in September to further strengthen our network. An email will be sent notifying you when work will take place.
Otherwise, we anticipate that your service will continue blissfully uninterrupted during this transition.

Yes, Gateway Fiber will continue to support your fixed wireless service. However, if you live in an area where fiber internet is available, we encourage you to switch to fiber for faster speeds. Check here to see if fiber is available where you live.
Yes, your KWIKOM email address will no longer be supported. But don’t panic. The good news is you don’t have to lose all your old emails or downloads if you switch to Gmail or another email service. We recommend following the steps in this blog post to quickly and easily transfer all your KWIKOM emails to a new email service of your choice.
Gateway Fiber does not offer our own email service, so we recommend creating an email account with a free service such as Gmail or another provider.
Unfortunately, the KWIKOM TV service has been discontinued on July 31. As an alternative, we recommend using streaming services for your favorite movies and TV shows.
Nope! There will be no changes to the terms of your current business internet service. If any improvements or upgrades become available in the future for our business customers, we’ll let you know.
